Better Balance for Life

We start with a Tai Chi warmup to prepare the body both mentally and physically. We then concentrate on building your balance and leg strength with a wide variety of exercises and activities. Finishing with a long stretch. Suitable for all levels of fitness and mobility. Online classes also available with either the weekly or monthly membership options.  See the membership pages for further details.  Check out my sample exercises for some of the examples of what we will cover in class.

When –   Wednesday 8.30 – 10am

Where – Warwick Stadium cnr Wanneroo & Warwick Rd ( please note this class has an additional 1/2 hr cardio section at the beginning of the class)

When –   Tuesday & Thursday 11.30  – 12.30pm

Where –  Whitfords Community Centre. Next to Whitfords Library Banks Ave.

$8 per person Warwick

Cardio , Strength and Balance

Get your body moving with 30 mins of cardio/dance followed by some upper body work with light weights ( weights – 1 or 1.5kg is enough to start with). We will then finish with 1/2 hr balance work (optional).  Suitable for most levels of fitness and mobility.  

When – Friday 9.00am.  Please note no class on the first Friday of every month. Occasionally, when the hall is not in use, I will run a class.  Will advise the week prior.

$5 Cardio & Strength only.

$7 including 1/2 hr Balance

Boxing and Balance for Parkinson's

Starting with a Tai Chi warmup to prepare the body both mentally and physically, we follow with our balance and leg strength work moving into the boxing segment of the class. (byo boxing gloves and pads, I understand in the beginning you will be unsure if the boxing and balance for Parkinson’s class is for you or not so unless you already have boxing gloves and pads please bring some cotton gloves and I will supply the gloves and pads for the first session). Please contact me prior to attending so I can find out a little more about your condition. I would strongly recommend that you bring a partner along so that you can do a little bit of work at home.
